RETURN POLICY

Until you have made payment, you may cancel your order at any stage at no cost to you.
Change of heart

If you change your mind about your purchase, you have 30 days to return your non-faulty item from the date of delivery or collection.

All items should be unused and returned with the proof of purchase. If you received the goods as a gift, the proof of purchase is still required.

We’ll refund the item/s in the same way you paid, less the applicable service and delivery charges.

Should you wish the item to be collected from your address, please contact our sales team to make arrangements. A collection fee will be charged.

The Consumer Protection Act does not oblige us to accept cancellation of any product custom-made for you.
Faulty items

All goods sold by Iron Oak is subject to stringent quality control standards. In the unfortunate event of you receiving a faulty item from us, please contact our sales team immediately.

Our team will arrange the collection date and time to collect your item unless you choose to return it to our workshop.

We will offer you your choice of a repair or a replacement if the item is still under guarantee.

The Consumer Protection Act stipulates a six month guarantee period from time of purchase; this applies to any Iron Oak pieces. (Please check our warranty section on website for more information.

As quality furniture manufacturing business in South Africa, we believe that our furniture deserves a longer guarantee period than stipulated by the Consumer Protection Act:

Within a year from date of purchase for our wooden worktops.

Within two years of purchase for all hardware: Hinges, runners, handles and power docks.

Lifetime warranty on steel frames.

If our quality assurance team finds that the goods are defective or that there are quality issues, our Team will contact you to determine your choice of repair, or replacement.

If the goods are repaired by us and within 3 months of collection or delivery of the repaired goods, the defect, failure or unsafe feature has not been remedied or a further defect is found, we will refund you.

You will not be eligible for a refund or replacement if our assessment reveals that you have not followed the product usage or care instructions, the goods are not defective or not affected by quality issues. We will, however, quote you on a repair which you are not obliged to accept.

If you choose to have your goods repaired after the warranty has expired, we reserve the right to charge a Repair fee.
Refunds

If you purchased the goods yourself and meet all the refund requirements and no other resolutions are possible, you will receive a full refund, minus applicable service and delivery charges.

Refunds under the amount of 20,000.00 ZAR will be processed within 15 days and refunds over the amount of 20,000.00 ZAR will be processed within 30 days. This process cannot be sped up due to third party refund policies.

A refund form must be completed by the original purchaser and accompanied by a copy of your ID.

If you received the goods as a gift, or if you do not have the invoice, we may use our discretion to allow you to receive credit of the same value on our website.

Under NO circumstances will a refund be given for custom made orders.
